1. Information We Collect

1.1 Photos You Upload (Explicit Consent)

When you upload a photo to Lens Scan:

It is stored securely in Firebase Storage.
It remains stored until you delete it from the in-app "History" section.
When deleted, the photo is permanently removed from our servers.
Photos are used solely to analyze and provide the Service's features.

We do NOT:

use photos to train AI models
sell, rent, or trade user images
use photos for advertising, datasets, or external AI training
analyze EXIF/geolocation metadata for tracking

By uploading a photo, you grant us permission to process it only for delivering the Service.

1.2 Share Links (User Fully Responsible)

If you choose to generate a shareable link:

Anyone with the link can view your image.
Links remain active indefinitely unless you delete the image.
If you delete the image, the link becomes invalid.
You assume full responsibility for any access, sharing, redistribution, or misuse of the link.

Important: By generating a share link, you waive all claims against Even Edge regarding unauthorized access or use by third parties.

1.3 Analytics & Technical Information

We collect non-personal usage data including:

Device type and OS
Crash logs
Subscription status
App interaction events
Temporary IP (for security)

Collected through:

Firebase Analytics
Firebase Crashlytics
RevenueCat

We do not collect:

Contacts
Biometric identifiers
Precise GPS location
Social media profile data

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to:

analyze photos
produce AI-generated results
improve accuracy and app stability
validate subscriptions and prevent fraud
maintain system security
provide user support
ensure service reliability

We do not sell or rent your data.

3. AI Outputs Disclaimer (Medical, Legal, Financial, Valuation)

Lens Scan does NOT provide:

medical or diagnostic advice
legal advice
financial or investment guidance
official appraisals or valuations
safety-critical recommendations

All outputs (identifications, descriptions, classifications, price estimations, analysis) are:

automatically generated by AI
approximate, experimental, and may contain errors
intended for informational purposes only

You agree that:

you will not rely on any output for medical, legal, financial, appraisal, or safety decisions
all actions taken based on app results are entirely at your own risk

To the maximum extent permitted by law: You waive any right to hold Even Edge liable for misidentification, inaccurate results, incorrect price estimates, or damages from your use of the Service.

4. Assumption of Risk

By using Lens Scan, you understand and agree that:

AI analysis may be incomplete or incorrect
you assume all risk associated with using the Service
you are solely responsible for verifying any output
results should not be used for real-world decisions

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Even Edge:

is not liable for inaccurate AI output
is not liable for medical, financial, legal, or valuation consequences
is not liable for unauthorized access via shared links
is not liable for temporary outages, delays, or data loss
limits total liability to the amount paid for the Service (which may be $0)

This limitation applies to all damages (direct, indirect, incidental, consequential).

6. Third-Party AI and Infrastructure Disclaimer

Lens Scan may use or interact with AI or cloud services provided by third parties.

Even Edge is not responsible for:

limitations of third-party AI systems
errors, omissions, or inaccuracies caused by third-party models
outages or failures of external service providers

By using Lens Scan, you waive all claims related to third-party model behavior.

7. Data Retention

• Photos → stored until you delete them
• Crash logs → retained per Firebase policy
• Subscription data → retained per financial compliance

You may request deletion of all data at any time.

Deleted content may persist temporarily in secure backups as part of standard integrity procedures.

8. Service Changes & Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time and without notice.

We do not guarantee:

uninterrupted availability
error-free operation
permanent access to historical data

You use the Service as-is and as-available.

9. Security

We use:

encrypted data transmission
Firebase Security Rules
access-controlled internal systems

However, no system is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Children's Privacy

Lens Scan is not intended for children under age 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Your Data Rights

Under applicable law (GDPR/CCPA), you may request:

12. Class Action Waiver

Even Edge owes no duty of care regarding:

accuracy of AI results
completeness or usefulness of analysis
professional, financial, medical, legal, or appraisal outcomes

Using the Service does not create a professional or advisory relationship.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
