1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the App, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. Your continued use constitutes ongoing acceptance. You represent that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, parental or legal guardian consent is required.

3. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

copy, distribute, modify, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App;
extract or attempt to extract source code;
bypass, disable, or tamper with security features;
use the App to compete with Even Edge.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Even Edge.

4. User Content & Uploaded Images

The App allows you to upload images for AI-based identification.

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of your uploaded content.

4.2 License to Process

By uploading an image, you grant Even Edge a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, analyze, and use that content solely to provide the App's features (object recognition, history, system performance, debugging).

4.3 Storage on Firebase

Images are temporarily stored on Firebase servers.
If you delete an item from your in-app history, the associated file is deleted from our storage.
We do not use your content to train machine learning models.

4.4 Share Links

If you create a share link for any image:

the image becomes accessible to anyone with the link;
Even Edge cannot control third-party distribution once shared;
you assume full responsibility for all shared content.

4.5 User Responsibility for Content

You agree not to upload:

personal data, sensitive information, private documents, IDs;
medical images, financial documents, personal health data;
explicit, violent, harmful, hateful, abusive, or illegal content;
images belonging to others without their permission.

Important: Even Edge is not responsible for user-uploaded content under any circumstances.

5. No Professional or Accuracy Guarantees

The App provides AI-generated results for informational and entertainment purposes only.

You acknowledge and agree that:

results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading,
the App does not provide medical, financial, legal, safety, or professional advice,
no analysis should ever be relied upon as a substitute for professional evaluation,
Even Edge has no liability for actions you take based on the output.

You assume 100% of the risk for any decisions made using the App.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features require paid subscriptions.

6.1 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

6.2 Billing

Payment, renewal, refunds, cancellations, and trial terms are handled exclusively by Apple App Store. Even Edge does not process payments and cannot modify or control App Store billing.

6.3 Free Trials

If you purchase a subscription during a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited.

6.4 Cancellations

You must cancel via App Store → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

7. Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using the App, you consent to the processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate third-party services (e.g., Firebase, analytics, APIs). These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

use the App for unlawful activities;
upload harmful or malicious files;
interfere with servers or networks;
attempt unauthorized access;
use the App to harass, harm, or impersonate others;
recreate the App or compete with Even Edge.

Even Edge may restrict or terminate users for violating these rules.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.

Even Edge does not guarantee:

uninterrupted or error-free service;
accurate object identification;
compatibility with all devices;
correction of defects;
availability of cloud services;
protection against data loss.

You use the App entirely at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Even Edge is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages;
our total liability for any claim shall never exceed the amount you paid us, if any;
Even Edge is not responsible for losses related to reliance on AI results, inability to use the App, deletion of data, device issues, or third-party actions.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Even Edge, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates from all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

your use of the App,
content you upload or share,
your violation of these Terms,
your violation of any law or third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including misuse or violation of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the App immediately ceases.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by no specific jurisdiction unless required by applicable law. You agree that any disputes shall be resolved under applicable international digital service standards.
